Focused on enabling levels 1 - 3 (frontline team leaders, managers, supervisors, senior managers and directors) with the essential operations leadership, execution and management skills to align, direct and maneuver their industry business unit teams.

McMaster's Enhanced Operations Leadership Essentials (EOLE) course uses a global industry-led approach to equip participants with a deployable operations execution framework developed in line with industry best practices. The EOLE course, in partnership with The Strong Link draws best practices, approaches, tools & strategies from senior leaders at Northrop Grumman, Airbus, Bombardier, Volvo, UD Trucks, Pratt & Whitney, General Electric and Lockheed Martin. The EOLE course enables new & recently advanced leaders by defining their start state, aligning a development path and enhancing leadership, operations, execution and management essential skills - within an industry 4.0 environment.

This course is designed for leaders within or entering front-line teams & business units looking to enhance their skills, grow their networks, build confidence and establish a development pathway for their teams to meet current and near-horizon scaling challenges.

  • Understand risk and disruption management frameworks used to anticipate, define, and maneuver within chaotic environments with multi-disciplinary/parallel teams while minimizing disruption impacts.

  • Understand how to utilize a rapid, short-term, group-based decision-making framework to drive team-based micro-change projects consistently.

The execution framework for the EOLE course has been developed, drawing the best practices, solutions, resources and tools from the leaders below. On the day of your course, you can expect to engage with up to three leaders during our end-course panellist's session, sharing questions and answers to enable the deployment of your customized execution frameworks.

Participants should have relevant work experience or education in their industry field; a college or university education is an asset but not required.
